ENZON COMPLETES SALE OF SPECIALTY PHARMACEUTICAL BUSINESS

Enzon Pharmaceuticals, Inc. has closed the sale of its specialty pharmaceutical business to sigma-tau. The specialty pharmaceutical business sold includes four marketed products, Abelcet® (amphotericin B lipid complex injection), Adagen® (pegademase bovine), Depocyt® (cytarabine liposome injection), and Oncaspar® (pegaspargase), as well as the manufacturing facility in Indianapolis, Indiana.
